Project Description: MGE installed approximately 5 miles of 2″ conduit, 80 pull boxes, fiber optic and copper cable and termination equipment to allow communication between traffic signals.  This project took place in densely populated residential and commercial neighborhoods, the running line mostly within concrete sidewalk. The utilization of directional drilling and vacuum potholing technologies greatly reduced the public and environmental impacts and the cost of the project.
