Tasked with restoring power to the city of Paradise in partnership with PG&E, MGE is making the region safe and liveable for community members while providing wildfire resilience. An ongoing recovery project (2018-2025) in the aftermath of the Camp Fire, our deeply dedicated team is under-grounding electrical systems in challenging terrain with non-existent infrastructure—which is where our utility construction expertise comes in.

MGE’s robust operational training ensures we’re equipped to underground essential power lines. All team members complete in-depth project onboarding before ever stepping foot on the job site. Top-of-the-line mechanical and hydraulic drills ensure we’re prepared for evolving ground conditions. In fact, we’ve been able to ramp production 300% in a 40 day period to meet client goals.
