A trusted partner in civil and electrical utility construction, MGE is teaming up with a number of organizational entities to move overhead PG&E lines underground—relocating distribution lines over 120 miles to ensure they don’t conflict with the pathway of California’s High-Speed Rail. Beyond directional drilling, trenchless drilling, and dry boring methods, we installed up to 34-inch casing to run all conduit through. All of which requires comprehensive planning, permitting, and consistently meeting complex compliance standards.
